Story
Ellie is a loving girl. She is up to date with her shots and fully house trained. She is around three years old. The reason we are rehoming her is that she doesn’t get along with our cat. She would do best being the only animal in her home and with older kids. Ellie is very loyal. She loves to be a part of daily activities and once she adjusts to a new home, will truly be her person’s best friend and companion.

Story
Ivy is a beautiful, high-energy dog I rescued from the pound last year. She’s full of life, incredibly fast, and has an amazing ability to climb and jump — she would make an excellent hiking or running partner for someone with an active lifestyle and a secure yard. Most of the time, Ivy is sweet and affectionate. However, she has recently started showing signs of dominance and has had some conflicts with my older dog. She also shown teeth and nipped at me when overstimulated, which has made me realize that she may not be the best fit for a home with small children. While Ivy has never shown aggression toward my child, I’ve made the difficult decision to prioritize safety and rehome her to a more suitable environment. Ivy would thrive as the only pet or in a home where she can confidently be the alpha. She would do best with an experienced dog owner and older children who understand boundaries and respect animal cues. She’s smart, loyal, and has so much potential in the right home.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Southern From forgotten to family-bound — Southern’s journey is nothing short of inspiring. Southern was once scheduled to be euthanized in a high-kill shelter, arriving to us shut down, terrified, and heartworm positive. With patience, professional training, and dedicated medical care, this beautiful boy has made an incredible transformation. Today, Southern is healthy, happy, and finally ready to find a home where he can feel safe and loved.  He’s an old soul with a gentle heart who may take a little time to warm up, but once he trusts you, his playful and affectionate personality begins to shine. He thrives in the company of other dogs and would do best in a home with another calm, confident pup to show him the ropes. He walks well on a leash and enjoys leisurely strolls, though his hips are starting to show some signs of age—understandable for a dog who likely spent most of his life outdoors. Now that he's completed his heartworm treatment, Southern is ready for the life he always deserved: one filled with soft beds, belly rubs, and a family of his own. This sweet boy would be best matched with an experienced dog owner who understands the needs of a dog that’s learning to trust again. Could that be you?
