Story
Originally re-housed , came from an abusive owner. Very sweet and friendly with people but can be emotional. Cherry has been pregnant twice and is not neutered. She is fed 3 times a day in large portions but has always been very skinny. Cherry uses the litter box and is well behaved. She needs a relaxed environment without other pets especially dogs. But most importantly she needs lots of love.

Story
Buttercup, a teeny tabby girl, and Sybil, an adorable glossy black girl, came to HART with 9 kittens that they were raising together. This very bonded pair have made it clear that they are quite ready to be someone's babies now that their kittens have all been adopted. Please come and meet this special pair soon! These beauties are bonded and are constantly interacting with each other. They are very active and love chasing each other around, playing with a toy together, and even sharing food from one bowl (even though they have their own). At rest, they sleep next to each other and also next to their foster mom (and each other). They take turns giving the other a bath. Buttercup's purr motor goes on when she's playing, cuddling, and just hanging out. Sybil may take a moment to warm up, and then she will be a lovely and constant companion, happy to lounge next to her foster mom. Both are super sweet and friendly. They are great at using the scratching post, and don't seem to shed. Thank you for your interest in Sybil! Please visit www.hart90.org/petdetail.aspx?ID=18669 to get the most up-to-date and accurate information on this pet, to email the contact person listed for more information and how to meet Sybil, or to submit an online application. HART adopts to the local DC/VA/MD metro area only. Visit our website for more information about our adoption process.

Story
When I first got Banana, she was just 3 weeks old. I brought her home from D.C., and ever since then, we’ve been inseparable. She truly is the best cat in the world—loving, playful, and full of personality. Sadly, due to personal reasons, I have to make the difficult decision to rehome her. I’m looking for someone who will love her just as much as I do. Banana adores cuddles, craves attention, and even enjoys playing catch. She deserves a warm, caring home where she can continue to thrive.

Meet Onyx — a total sweetheart with a heart full of love and impeccable manners. This cuddly companion will melt into your home and your heart, settling in like he’s always been part of the family. And don’t miss out on Luna, his equally charming sidekick. These two came to us together and share a beautiful bond — it would be truly special to see them find a forever home side by side. Luna is just as affectionate, gentle, and well-behaved as Onyx, and both absolutely adore attention and cuddles. Double the love, double the purrs — open your heart to this perfect pair!

Story
My pets name is Astro and we rescued him from a local mechanic shop. We planned to adopt Astro’s brother, Nimbus, but after he was adopted by another family we took Astro and never regretted our choice. Astro is an energetic, loyal, strong cat that is very sweet. He loves to play with toys and loves to be outside. He is shy around new people but after warming is very affectionate. Astro is a long boy with healthy eating habits. Astro has been my loyal friend for almost six years, I have been very busy in my life and plan on moving soon. I am not able to care and play for him like I used to and that makes me sad. I’m hoping to find astro a new, safe home with hopefully a child or someone who can play with him. Even if he cannot play as much he is a happy companion. I greatly appreciate anyone willing to love and take him in for his new happy life.
